The Drive will keep you up to speed with the latest on Twin Cities commuting.

6:20 a.m. update: Rolling right along

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: June 20, 2014 - 6:23 AM

Commuters on northbound 35W at Cliff Road now have an additional lane to work with, but the crash on the right shoulder and right lane, combined with the emergency vehicles still on scene has traffic bunched up from Burnsville Pkwy.   The good news is that north of Cliff, it's wide open and fancy free into Minneapolis.

A stalled vehicle on eastbound 94 at White Bear Avenue is the only other problem at this hour. Roads are drying out and light levels of traffic are keeping things moving, at least on the mainline.

A reminder that Cedar Avenue at Minnehaha Pkwy. and other intersections along Minnehaha remain closed due to standing water.  West River Pkwy. from Franklin to 4th Avenue also closed after last night's mudslide.
