8 a.m. update: Multi-vehicle crash jams traffic on Hwy. 61 in Newport

It looks like a nasty scene on northbound Hwy. 61 just prior to the 494 interchange. Lots of emergency vehicles are on the scene of a crash that looks to involve at least three vehicles.

It looks like a nasty scene on northbound Hwy. 61 just prior to the 494 interchange. Lots of emergency vehicles are on the scene of a crash that looks to involve at least three vehicles.

Traffic is plugged up through Newport.
