Keeping tabs on Monday's morning commute

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: May 12, 2014 - 5:16 AM

Good morning, commuters!

It's another lights-and-windshield-wipers on day as rain is falling in some places and we'll lots of road spray to deal with.

Standing water is also a possibility, like we have on the ramp from eastbound 94 to Huron Blvd. Use caution if your commute takes you along that route.

I-694 in Brooklyn Center is back to full strength following a weekend paving project in the area of Hwy. 252.

And things are already building in Lakeville on northbound I-35 between County 70 and County 50. That single lane configuration will be in place for another week or so.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
