Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: May 9, 2014 - 5:21 AM

Good morning, commuters!

Getting around town at this early hour is a piece of cake as roads are dry and traffic levels are light.

This weekend, we've got lots of road work that will pose a few difficulties. They include a paving project on I-694 in the northern suburbs, more lane closures on I-35 in the far south metro and Hwy. 10 in Coon Rapids and Anoka.  I'll have a separate posting to detail those closings a bit later this morning.

For now, I’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
