The first day of the single lane configuration on I-35 between County Road 70 and County Road 50 is producing massive stagnation for commuters. It's nose to nose from Elko up to County Road 46, a 30 to 35 minute drive.

Ahead, things roll along much better along 35E and 35W to either downtown.

The latest word on the rollover on the ramp from northbound Hwy. 252 to Hwy. 610 in Brooklyn Park is that it might have been a Metro Transit maintence vehicle and not a Metro Mobility bus as reported earlier. The word is the driver was taken to Mercy Hospital. I've got a query into the Met Council to get more details.

Things are still tight on southbound 35W from Lake Drive to County 96. It's a 15-minute push from Lexington down to Hwy. 280.

Eastbound 94 is looking much better from the Crow River to the Fish Lake Split. Travel times are at 15 minutes but dropping.
