7:30 a.m. update: Rainy conditions producing few delays

Despite the rain and wet roads, traffic is moving fairly well on most mainline routes. During the first half of the rush, we've had few crashes or incidents to tangle traffic.

Drivers on southbound 169 will run into some delays approaching Hwy. 212. Southbound 169 is closed from the Crosstown to Valley View Road until July. Traffic is being diverted onto westbound Hwy. 212.

Eastbound 212 has pockets of bumper to bumper conditions from Dell Road over to Prairie Center Drive. It's 15 minutes from Hwy. 41 to 494.

Southbound 35E and 35W will experience some sluggishness from the Forest Lake Split down to 694.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is moving decent with 12 to 15 minutes from 694 over to 35W.

No problems for northbound Hwy. 52 or Hwy. 61 from the southeastern suburbs up to downtown St. Paul.
