The word is that there are some giant potholes in the lanes of southbound 35E in the vicinity of the Gateway Trail bridge. Traffic is already heavy in the area with the squeeze on from Hwy. 36 to University Avenue.

Commuters on southbound Hwy. 169 will find the ramp to westbound Hwy. 212 jammed as motorists use it for the detour to get around the Hwy. 169 closure from Crosstown to Valley View Road. Northbound traffic flows fine from the Minnesota River to 394.

No problems for eastbound Hwy. 212 drives through Chanhassen and Eden Prairie. Both Crosstown and 494 through Bloomington are moving well despite the rain.

Travel times are still decent on northbound Hwy. 52, Hwy. 61, Cedar Avenue, 35W and Hwy. 3 for those coming in from the south.

On southbound 35W, things bunch up from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 10, but it's still a good run from the Forest Lake Split to downtown Minneapolis. Plan on 30 minutes.
