8:10 a.m. update: Looking better on 35W

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: April 7, 2014 - 8:12 AM

Crashes on northbound 35W at Cliff Road and 37th Street have cleared or been pushed out of the main traffic lanes, and that has helped traffic loosen up. Things are getting back to the posted speeds through Burnsville and Bloomington, and just under the posted in Minneapolis.

The stall on westbound 494 at 12th Avenue has been moved out of the way, and traffic is recovering quickly. Expect a delay of 1 to 3 minutes.

The real problem at this hour is on southbound 169. A crash left debris in the right and center lane at Lincoln Drive in Edina. Things crawl from Cedar Lake Road.

Look for a brief slow down on eastbound Crosstown from Hwy. 100 to France Avenue where a crash on the right shoulder is in the final stages of clearing.
