The Monday commute to work and school was hassle free as roads were dry and traffic volumes were lighter than normal.

The one crash that tangled traffic for a about 20 minutes was on westbound 94 at the Lowry Hill Tunnel. The right lane was blocked between the tunnel and the 394 exits from 7 to 7:20 a.m. Traffic backed up to Portland Avenue.

Snow that started falling around 8:30 a.m. might create a few slick spots, so use caution as you are out and about.

The one crash on the system at this hour is on southbound Hwy. 65 at 109th Avenue. The left lane is blocked and lots of flashing lights are on the scene.

Look for lane closures between 10:30 a.m. and noon on southbound 169 between Crosstown and 494. MnDOT will be repairing guardrails.
