The real crush might be behind us as congestion on mainline roads has loosened considerably in the past 15 minutes.

We still have pockets of slow traffic on westbound 494 approaching the Wakota Bridge, westbound 94 from the Fish Lake interchange up to Rogers (Hwy. 101), and northbound Hwy. 100 from 50th Street to 394.

The biggest hassle on the system remains on westbound Hwy .10. The traffic lights are flashing red at Thurston Avenue. That has traffic jammed from Round Lake Blvd. That is a 35 minute wait. Northbound 169 traffic also is getting caught in the delays starting at about 109th Avenue.

The State Patrol is dealing with wrecks on northbound 35W at the Crosstown and Hwy. 36. Neither is having a big impact on traffic flow.
