8:15 a.m. update: 394 crash moved to right shoulder

After blocking the center and left lanes for about 25 minutes, authorities have moved the wreckage of a crash on eastbound 394 at Penn Avenue over to the right shoulder.

In its wake, traffic is bumper to bumper from Penn Avenue back to Winnetka Avenue, so this will take a while to shake loose.

Northbound Hwy. 100 sputters from 50th Street to 394, so plan on 18 minutes there.

Another slow spot is on southbound 35E at Maryland Avenue. A crash in right lane has motorists hitting the brakes at Hwy. 36.

In downtown Minneapolis, look for a ramp jam getting onto the Hennepin/Lyndale ramp as well as the 11th Street ramp. A stall at Portland Avenue on the right is also in the mix.
