Good morning, commuters!

It's warm and roads are wet for now, but expect the winds to come up and the temperature to drop as the rush hour rolls on. At least that is the word from meteorologist Paul Douglas.

Once that happens, roads could start to ice up so pay attention to changing conditions.

Outside the metro, travel is ill-advised as winds upwards of 40 to 50 miles per hour are making travel extremely dangerous.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
