Commuters had a smooth commute to the office on Monday as roads were in good shape and accidents were few and far between.

Come Tuesday, it could be a different story. Meteorologist Paul Douglas says an Alberta Clipper will swing south and bring 1 to 3 inches of snow with it. That could put a damper on Tuesday's morning commute as snow will start Monday night and linger into the morning.

For today at least, it was a nice drive. At this hour, the one major snag is on northbound 35W at the downtown exits has traffic creeping along from 46th Street. A crash in the backup at 31st Street has cleared.

Elsewhere a few pockets of congestion on 494 in Bloomington between Hwy. 100 and Lyndale Avenue and on southbound 35W from Industrial Blvd. to downtown Minneapolis is about the only thing that will slow you down at this hour.
