It's been a fairly routine day on the roads and after the rash of crashes Tuesday and Wednesday, we will take it.

A couple of stalled vehicles on southbound Hwy. 169 between 7th Street and Bren Road is causing a minor slow down. Apparently one of the drivers ran out of gas.

As far as crashes go, the one on westbound Hwy. 36 near 35W is causing headaches for drivers there. Plan on 20 minutes from 35E over to 35W.

A wreck on southbound 35W at Broadway has cleared. It's a nice drive on 35W from Lake Drive to downtown Minneapolis. Plan on 19 minutes.

In the south metro, look for things to bunch up on northbound 35W from County 42 up to the Minnesota River bridge. Northbound Cedar and Hwy. 169 also have pockets of congestion approaching the river, but things loosen up to the north.

East metro drivers will find the usual sluggish conditions on westbound 494 crossing Hwy. 61 and the Mississippi River.

Southbound 35E remains tight from Little Canada Road to 94 in St. Paul due to an earlier crash at Maryland Avenue and the normal heavy traffic.
