Good morning, commuters!

This is shaping up to be another one of those days when commuters can expect to spend lots of extra time on the roads.

MnDOT and county agencies have been out all night plowing, but expect highways and freeways to be slick. Side streets are snow covered and extremely slippery.

Be sure to use extra care on ramps and bridges. Currently in the metro we have three accidents, both on ramps.

They are on the eastbound Crosstown ramp to northbound Hwy. 100. The ramp is closed as authorities try to pull a vehicle out of the ditch.

We also have a crash on the ramp from 35E to westbound 494. And a new one just happened on the ramp from Bass Lake Road to southbound Hwy. 169.

Good morning, commuters! We'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
