Good morning, commuters!

By and large, we escaped the Thanksgiving weekend without any significant precipitation or pestilence to snarl traffic, but this morning could be interesting.

A light band of snow moved through a few hours ago and temperatures are a few degrees either side of freezing. That means there could be some slippery spots.

MnDOT is saying that roads in the metro area are in fair condition. Meteorologist Paul Douglas says today will bring a mixed bag of precipitation, so make sure you stay up with changing road conditions.

Currently we have no crashes or delays on the system.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
