It's turning into a bugaboo on westbound 694. Not only is the freeway reduced to two lanes from 35W to Hwy. 252, we now have a wreck at University Avenue. The slow down begins at Silver Lake Road.

It's turning into a bugaboo on westbound 694. Not only is the freeway reduced to two lanes from 35W to Hwy. 252, we now have a wreck at University Avenue. The slow down begins at Silver Lake Road.

Tim Harlow covers traffic and transportation issues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and likes to get out of the office, even during rush hour. He also covers the suburbs in northern Hennepin and all of Anoka counties, plus breaking news and weather.
