8:25 a.m. update: Looking better on 494, Hwy. 36

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: September 26, 2013 - 8:25 AM

Traffic flow is improving on southbound 494 now that a crash involving a tanker truck at Rockford Road has cleared out. You'll still have some delays, but it's much better than it was 10 minutes ago.

The same is true on westbound Hwy. 36. The wreck at Lexington Avenue is gone.

Things are thinning out on northbound I-35 from County Road 2 to County Road 50 through Lakeville. It's 12 mintues up to the Burnsville Split.

It's still tough on westbound 694 between Central Avenue and Hwy. 100.

Both westbound Crosstown from Hwy. 169 to 35W and northbound 35W from Diamond Lake Road to downtown Minneapolis are still locked up. It's 18 minutes from the Crosstown Commons to downtown Minneapolis.
