After a rash of crashes and nightmarish conditions on westbound I-94, things are starting to shake loose in the Midway. Drivers will find pockets of congestion from McKnight Road to 35E and from Lexington Avenue to Riverside. But it's not as jammed as it has been and travel times are dropping.

Our other really slow spot is on eastbound 394 from General Mills Blvd to downtown Minneapolis. That is still about 12 to 15 minutes.

Here is something you don't see often. A Washington County sheriff's deputy reported a bull loose on the road at Manning Avenue and Hudson Road, near Afton, Minn. The deputy said cars were crashing into each other trying to avoid the bull. The incident was reported at about 7:30 a.m.
