Good morning, commuters!
It's going to be a wet morning rush hour with rain moving in over the course of the next few hours, and then the blast furnace will arrive in time for the drive home.
Right now we have good road conditions. The weekend work on I-494 in Bloomington and on 694 in Arden Hills has lifted, and the lanes are back open.
Here are a couple of noteworthy closings that go into effect today:
- Hwy. 47 in both directions at the railroad tracks in Anoka through Sept. 16
- The ramp from westbound 94 to White Bear Avenue in Maplewood.
- The ramp from westbound 694 to Lexington Avenue in Arden Hills.
I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
