6:35 a.m. update: Filling in on 35W in Burnsville and Lakeville

It's going to be another tough drive for commuters in the south metro as motorists continue to try to get around the construction on the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.

Traffic is stacked up to County Road 18.  Eastbound Hwy. 13 is bound up approaching Washburn Avenue.

Northbound 35 and 35W from County Road 50 to the Burnsville Split is already heavy and things remain tight up to 110th Street.  Northbound 35E has pockets of slow traffic from the split up to Cedar Avenue.

Drivers on southbound Hwy. 169 from County Road 81 to Bass Lake Road will be tapping the brakes as things are filling in there. An earlier crash at 63rd Avenue has cleared.

On southbound 35W, look for congestion from Lake Drive down to I-694. Plan on 12 minutes there.

Medics are being called to a crash on Snelling Avenue at Dayton in St. Paul. There could be a vehicle fire too.

Drivers on eastbound 94 will need a few extra minutes to get through the work zone in Albertville. The freeway is down to a single lane.
