6:50 a.m. update: Gridlock on Hwy. 169

It's gridlock on northbound Hwy. 169 from before Canterbury Road up to Old Shakopee Road. That's because the Bloomington Ferry Bridge is reduced to a single lane in each direction for road work.

The drive to 494 is now at 17 minutes and rising.

To the west, look for fog over the Minnesota River Bridge that is causing traffic to slow from Burnsville Pkwy. up to 98th Street in Bloomington and Burnsville.

Southbound 35W is filling in and a stall is blocking the left lane at 95th Avenue in the Lino Lakes/Blaine area. It's 15 minutes down to Hwy. 280.

Look for pockets of slow traffic on southbound 35E from County Road J down to 694.

Give yourself an extra 5 minutes on northbound 35E from County Road 42 up to Diffley Road in Eagan.
