Reduced service on some MVTA routes today

A handful of Minnesota Valley Transit Authority routes will have fewer buses running today. The agency says it has lower ridership on Fridays during the summer, so a few trips on routes 460, 465 and 477 will be eliminated on Friday through Labor Day.

Here is won't be running for the next couple months:

Route 460

Northbound routes departing the Burnsville Transit Station: 6:55 a.m., 7:09 a.m., 7:21 a.m. and 7:53 a.m.

Southbound trips from the Gateway Ramp in downtown Minneapolis: 3:49 p.m., 4:05 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.  Other trips will be adjusted: The 3:42p.m. will leave at 3:45p.m.; the 3:55 p.m. will depart at 3:53 p.m. and the 4:11 p.m. departs at 4:08p.m.

 Route 465

The northbound trips departing the Burnsville Transit Station: 6:45 a.m., 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.

 
Southbound trips leaving Ridder Arena at 3:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
 
Route 477
The northbound departure Lakeville/Cedar will leave four minutes later with departing time moved from 6:53 a.m. to 6:57 a.m.. Departure time from the Apple Valley Transit Station will be at 7:08 a.m.
The 4:12 p.m. southbound trip from the Gateway Ramp will leave at 4:17 p.m.
The southbound trip at 4:58 p.m. will be eliminated.
