Metro Transit bus and light rail drivers who have logged 25 years of accident-free driving will be honored today during an awards ceremony at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.
Drivers who have provided top-notch customer service, safe driving and achieved 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service also will be honored during the ceremony at 10 a.m.
Met Council Regional Administrator Pat Born, Metro Transit General Manager Brian Lamb and Metro Transit Chief of Police John Harrington will present the awards to more than 60 bus and train operators.
