Traffic has loosened up considerably in the north metro, but congestion still is strangling the drive in the south metro.

Westbound 494 is 20 minutes from Cedar Avenue over to Hwy. 169. Eastbound is 21 minutes from Hwy. 212 over to 35W.

Westbound Crosstown is very tight from Hwy. 169 over to Hwy. 100. Ahead, it is 20 minutes on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown.  Eastbound Crosstown is 11 minutes 35W to 169, with the tightest traffic Penn to Hwy. 100.

Northbound 169 is barely moving from Hwy. 7 to 394. A crash at 394 has finally been moved over to the right shoulder and all lanes are open.

In the east metro, look for a disabled semitrailer truck on the right shoulder of northbound 694 at 50th Street.
