7:40 a.m. update: Going nowhere fast in south and west metro

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: March 4, 2013 - 7:40 AM

The snow is taking its toll on roads in the south and west metro, and the north and east metro can expect deteriorating conditions as the rush hour rolls on.

We have a long list of troublespots with spinouts and wrecks. Here is where you will find delays:
Eastbound 394 at General Mills Blvd. The left shoulder is blocked.

The frontage road near the 3M plant on westbound 94 at McKnight Road.

Eastbound 94 at 95th Avenue in Maple Grove.

The ramp from eastbound 94 to Hiawatha Avenue. Traffic slow from the Lowry Hill Tunnel past the scene.

Westbound Crosstown at Lyndale Avenue.

Northbound 35 at Crystal Lake Road in Burnsville.

Westbound 94 just north of the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

A stall is blocking the ramp from northbound 35W to westbound 494 in Bloomington.
