8:20 a.m. update: Traffic jam in downtown Minneapolis

Traffic on northbound 35W now slows at 42nd Street due to a crash ahead near Park Avenue.
The ramp from eastbound 94 to north 35W is closed as crews work to clear a multi-vehicle accident.
Big time delays on ramp from eastbound 394 to 94. On 94, the back up begins at 7th Street. Give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get past the scene.
A crash on the right shoulder on the ramp from westbound 94 at Hwy. 61 is just about ready to clear.
Congestion on westbound Crosstown and 494 between 35W and Hwy. 100 will cost you 15 minutes.
On westbound 694, it's now 18 minutes from 35W to Hwy. 252. No crashes, just lots of folks crossing the river.
