Traffic is moving fine in many places, but we still have our areas where things are slow.

The toughest drive is on southbound 35W from 694 to downtown Minneapolis. That is about 30 minutes due mainly to an earlier accident that created a logjam that just has not loosened.

That also is impacting westbound Hwy. 36 drivers, who need 20 minutes from Hwy. 61 to Hwy. 280.

The Crosstown westbound is tight from 28th Street to Hwy. 100. That is 15 minutes.

Look for crowding on eastbound 394 from Hwy. 169 to Wirth Pkwy. and on Hwy. 100 in both directions from Hwy. 7 to 394. That will set you back about 5 to 10 minutes.

Westbound 494 is 13 minutes from Hwy. 212 to 35W. Heading east, it's closer to 20 minutes from Hwy. 5 to Hwy. 169. That's partially due to an earlier crash at Pilot Knob Road.
