8:10 a.m. update: Looking better on 169; tough on 35W

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: February 1, 2013 - 8:12 AM

The three stalls and crashes on southbound Hwy. 169 between 36th Avenue and Hwy. 55 have all cleared and things are moving once again. Just give yourself a couple of extra minutes to get through that area.

You'll need about 20 extra minutes to get from the Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis on northbound 35W. A stall at Lake Street has cleared, but a crash at 31st Street is blocking one of the lanes.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is getting back to normal now that a wreck at the railroad bridge near 35E has cleared.

We do have a crash on the shoulder of westbound 94 at Park Avenue. That's slowing traffic from Riverside to downtown Mpls.

Word of a crash on southbound Hwy. 252 south of Humboldt Avenue is just coming in.
