8:15 a.m. update: Crash on Cedar gone; new one on 35W

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: January 24, 2013 - 8:17 AM

The crash on northbound Cedar Avenue has cleared. Traffic should be back to normal in a few minutes. Traffic had been stacked up back to County 38.

A crash on the left shoulder is slowing things just a bit on southbound 35W at Johnson Pkwy. Overall, the drive on 35W is good with only 21 minutes needed from County Road I to downtown Minneapolis.

Our slowest traffic is on northbound 35W from the Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. That's about a 15 minute drive.

On westbound 94, traffic bunches up from Hiawatha Avenue to the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

A new crash has popped up on eastbound Crosstown at 34th Avenue. It's not having a huge impact on traffic.

Look for a stalled vehicle on the left shoulder of 694 at Xerxes Avenue.
