The rush hour is usually over by this time of the day, but not today. Icy conditions persist, and many drivers are still making their way to work.
Crashes still litter the system, including the crash blocking at least one lane on westbound Crosstown at Cedar Avenue. Emergency vehicles are on the scene.
Westbound Hwy. 10 remains closed at Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids as authorties work to clear a wreck blocking all lanes. Traffic is being forced to exit at Foley Blvd.
The drive on southbound 494 in the west metro is much better. It's now only 30 minutes from 94 to 394. That same drive on 169 will cost you 25 minutes. There is a new crash on southbound 494 at Carlson Pkwy.
