Traffic is still slow on westbound Hwy. 36, but the delays are shrinking. It's now only 20 minutes from English Street to Hwy. 280. From there it's only 10 minutes to downtown Minneapolis via southbound 35W. That drive had been taking up to 45 minutes earlier this morning.
Congestion also has eased on most metro roads, but there is still some out there. You will find it:
Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to France Avenue.
Northbound 35E from Hwy. 110 to W. 7th Street.
Eastbound 394 from Hwy. 169 to Wirth Pkwy.
Westbound 94 from Marion Street to Riverside Avenue.
