6:30 a.m. update: Slick spots still leading to spinouts

First for the good news: The wreck on Hwy. 169 at Minnetonka Blvd. has cleared and traffic is back to normal. Plan on 10 minutes heading south on 169  from 94 to 394.  Northbound look for a 7-minute drive from the Crosstown to 394.

Traffic remains slow on southbound 35E due to a wreck south of County Road 96. The left shoulder is blocked. Lighter levels of traffic means the delay is just a few minutes as you pass by.  Once you are down to 694, it's about 12 minutes to downtown St. Paul.

The right lane on northbound 280 remains blocked with crash at Como Avenue.

A wreck is blocking the left lane of westbound Crosstown at France Avenue in Edina. Slowdowns begin at Xerxes Avenue.

A vehicle slipped off the road on southbound Hwy. 61 at 694 in Maplewood.

A spinout came and went quickly on eastbound 494 at 24th Avenue. Just an example of how slick the roads are.
