8 a.m. update: Delays growing on Hwy. 36

Posted by: Tim Harlow Updated: November 28, 2012 - 7:59 AM

A jacknifed semitrailer truck has two lanes blocked on northbound 35E at Hwy. 36. Motorists are getting by in the left lane only.

That is creating a backup to Maryland Avenue. Give yourself 20 minutes to get past the scene. Southbound drivers, you'll need a few extra minutes as folks slow to gawk.

Other heavy traffic spots:
It's 20 minutes on westbound 94 from Dale Street to Lyndale Avenue.

It's 18 minutes on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis.

You'll need 10 minutes on eastbound 394 from Hwy. 169 to downtown Minneapolis.

Plan on 17 minutes on northbound 35E from 494 to 94 in downtown St. Paul.

It's busy on the eastbound Crosstown. You'll need 15 minutes from Hwy. 169 to 35W.

It's 10 to 12 minutes in each directions on 494 between East Bush Lake Road to Cedar Avenue.
