Daddy-O Scary Story: Readers, write the final chapter for Halloween!

Posted by: Jeremy Olson Updated: October 25, 2012 - 11:48 AM

Chapters by Star Tribune readers have thrust our hero, 11-year-old Andy, into the clutches of the ghost of Jesse James and forced him to dig up and pry open a coffin in the dark woods in Northfield. What is inside? What is the ghostly outlaw doing? And will Andy survive this nightmare? I have no clue. It's up to you. Read the first three chapters of the Ghostly Outlaw here and then try and write the final chapter by the end of the day Sunday, Oct. 29. One chapter submission will become the official end to the story.

Make the chapter scary but appropriate for young readers. The pace of the four-chapter short story has been a bit slow so far, so this fourth and final chapter will really need to get down to business!
