The Minneapolis Fire Department will hold its annual open house at four fire stations on Saturday with the focus on fire prevention.
The fire stations, which will be open from 1 to 4 p.m., are Station 5 at 2700 Bloomington Ave. S., Station 6 at 121 E. 15th St., Station 20 at 4646 Humboldt Ave. N., and Station 22 at 3025 Market Plaza.
Firefighters at the four stations will give visitors a tour, show them the fire trucks and talk about fire safety and prevention, according to a news release.
The fire department said that "it is important to have a home fire escape plan that prepares your family to think fast and get out quickly when the smoke alarm sounds."
