[UPDATE on Sept. 7: The contract now is
also available on the school district web site.]
The contract talks this year aroused more interest than normal, in part because critics of the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers alleged that some contract provisions
stand in the way of educating kids. But since the deal got roundly critiqued, based on a
tentative agreement, no outsiders had seen the actual wording of contract changes.
That changed Friday when the union posted a copy
here on its web site. The district said it would soon follow suit. .
The posting of the contract Friday now means that wonks gets the treat of plowing through all 233 pages of the document.
