A street vigil will take place at 7 p.m. this evening to remember Parrish Gray, the 25-year-old construction worker who was shot to death Tuesday in north Minneapolis.

Gray was in a car with three other men when they pulled up to a police officer on W. Broadway near Emerson Av. N. around 7 p.m. The others jumped out of the car and told a police officer that Gray, who was still in the vehicle, had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police investigation of the shooting continues.

Tonight's vigil, being held on W. Broadway between Emerson and Dupont Avs. N., is sponsored by the Minneapolis chapter of MAD DADs.
