What's making news in Minneapolis:
Rybak faces testy crowd at a forum on Vikings stadium: The 100 people sharing their views about the mayor's funding plan appeared to be split evenly. (Eric Roper) It wasn't the only criticism Rybak encountered Wednesday - at a public meeting hours earlier, he declined demands to condemn police treatment of Occupy protesters. (Randy Furst) This morning, Rybak faces the public again as he delivers his State of the City speech at the Capri Theater in north Minneapolis.
Vice President Joe Biden is in town to raise money for Sen. Amy Klobuchar: Ticket prices for the event at the downtown Hilton range from $10,000 for the VIP treatment to $125 for bronze seating. The most expensive ticket guarantees donors VIP seating, a photo with Biden and a mention in the event program. (Corey Mitchell)
