New University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler made his first trip to rural Minnesota last week, spending Wednesday at Farmfest.

Agri News published today a pretty complete description of what he was up to there. According to that article and other accounts, Kaler ate corn ice cream, spoke about the importance of agriculture, met with future farmers and climbed into an ethonal-powered race car.
