Bicyclist hit and killed by small truck near Alexandria

A bicyclist was struck by a small truck and killed on a highway north of Alexandria, Minn., authorities said Monday.
The crash Saturday afternoon on Hwy. 29 killed Don R. Keith, 87, of Alexandria, according to the State Patrol. Keith died the next day.
Nick Jalbert, 26, of Alexandria, was driving his truck south on the two-lane highway when the vehicle hit the bike as it also headed south, the patrol said. Jalbert was uninjured.
