Last update: November 30, 2009 - 7:50 PM

Authorities have identified the 80-year-old woman who was killed Sunday after her car rear-ended a pickup truck that had stopped in a construction zone in St. Louis County.

Mildred L. Granholm, of Duluth, died in the crash late Sunday morning, the State Patrol said Monday.

On Hwy. 2, west of Floodwood, Granholm was driving east and rear-ended the pickup on the two-lane highway, the patrol said.

A 41-year-old Burlington, Wis., man driving the pickup and a 59-year-old man from Plainview, Minn., who was a passenger were treated at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth and released, according to the patrol.

No one in either vehicle was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
