'Judge Judy' foes end up in barroom fight

Last update: November 23, 2009 - 8:41 PM

FORMER EAGAN ROOMMATES WHO SQUARED OFF ON NATIONAL TV'S "JUDGE JUDY" ENDED UP IN A BARROOM FIGHT, LANDING ONE OF THE WOMEN IN JAIL AND LEAVING THE OTHER WITH A GASH ON HER CHEEK.

Amanda Lindstrom, 24, appeared at a bail hearing Friday and was released from jail after being charged with misdemeanor domestic assault. She is accused of punching Krystal Hodgin, 26, inside Panino Brothers in Apple Valley about 1 that morning.

The two had been in Los Angeles for the taping of a recent "Judge Judy" episode, hoping to settle Lindstrom's claim against Hodgin over unpaid bills and stolen clothes. The judge ruled against Lindstrom.

Hodgin, in an interview with KSTP-TV, Ch. 5, said Lindstrom "blindsided me" with a "sucker punch." The cut under her right eye, she said, was made by a ring her alleged attacker was wearing.

Lindstrom told the TV station, "I walked to the bathroom [at the bar], walked past her and she tried swinging at me, so I swung back at her, and then the cops came and arrested me."
