Pickup truck hits man who ran into highway in St. Cloud

A 21-year-old man who ran into traffic on Hwy. 10 in St. Cloud was struck by a pickup truck and severely injured, authorities said.

Joseph M. Lewis, of Milaca, Minn., was hit about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on southbound Hwy. 10 near 4th Street SE., according to the State Patrol.

Lewis is at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis in critical but stable condition, the patrol said.

The pickup driver, 17-year-old Steven G. Marquette, of Clear Lake, Minn., was uninjured, according to the patrol.
