Raid finds 400 pot plants in Hermantown home

HERMANTOWN, Minn. - A raid on a Hermantown home by St. Louis County sheriff's deputies found two young children living among nearly 400 marijuana plants and evidence of meth use.

On Tuesday night, deputies found several growing rooms with marijuana plants. Investigators estimated the street value of the processed marijuana at more than $100,000.

Two men were arrested at the home during the raid Tuesday night. Charges are pending. The case remains under investigation.

A 4-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl also were found in the home. Police say they were released to the custody of relatives.
