It's enough to make you wonder what former possessions of Denny Hecker's aren't for sale.

A multimillion-dollar home in Medina once owned by the Twin Cities businessman who had enjoyed mogul status thanks to his auto dealership empire, is being sold by the bank for what the real estate agent declares is a "New Price!!!"

Here's what you can get for $5.6 million (down from $6.5 million): A private, gated estate on 200 feet of Mooney Lake shoreline, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, an indoor basketball court, a guest house, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 11 garage stalls.

The 17,251-square-foot home, which sits on 5.35 acres at 1492 Hunter Drive, is now owned by TCF Management Corp. To see an extensive photo gallery, visit www.meredithhowell.com/22007-default.html.

The agent listing the home, Meredith Howell, confirmed that the property was formerly owned by Hecker, who filed for bankruptcy protection in June, claiming $18 million in assets and $767 million in debt. Lawsuits by Chrysler Financial and seven other lenders also have been filed, and Hecker is the target of a federal criminal investigation as well, his lawyer has said.

The gavel has fallen twice this year on a bevy of Hecker possessions as part of an effort to pay off his creditors. Those items have included autographs from golf and hockey legends, a police cruiser, dozens of watches, scooters, motorbikes, and racks and racks of golf equipment.
