Police ID Little Falls man killed in crash

A Little Falls man killed in a one-vehicle crash has been identified as Ronald Frutiger, the State Patrol said.

Frutiger, 51, was driving westbound on Hwy. 18 about 2 miles west of Garrison, Minn. in Crow Wing County when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree, the patrol said.

Frutiger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which happened about 7:55 a.m. Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
