University of Minnesota officials have canceled two more walk-in flu shot clinics because vaccine hasn't been delivered as had been scheduled.
The university's Boynton Health Service was forced to postpone two planned flu-shot clinics on campus last month, citing delays in seasonal vaccine shipments.
The clinics originally had been scheduled for Wednesday and Oct. 14.
State health officials have said some clinics are running low on flu shots because of the decision to start vaccinating earlier than usual.
The same thing has happen across the country, as the biggest makers of seasonal flu vaccines in the U.S. are running into delays or cutting back shipments -- partly because of the crunch to produce millions of doses of the new H1N1 flu vaccine.
The university has scheduled two dozen shot clinics for students, faculty members and other employees.
