Last update: September 18, 2009 - 10:51 PM

Two men from Worthington, Minn., were killed and four people were hurt Friday in a crash in southwestern Minnesota.

The broadside collision happened about 6 p.m. in Nobles County at the intersection of Hwy. 264 and County Road 35, the State Patrol said.

A 72-year-old man driving a 2005 Suzuki XL7 wagon and his 38-year-old son died at the scene, the State Patrol said. They were traveling west on County Road 35 at the time of the collision. Their names were not released.

The four people hurt were in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, which was pulling a 1988 Coachman trailer and going south on Hwy. 264.

Driver Dennis Schroeder, of Tracy, Minn., and his wife, Dawn, suffered noncritical injuries and were taken to Sanford Regional Hospital in Worthington. Their 15-year-old son and a 4-year-old family friend were treated and released.
