Last update: June 22, 2009 - 11:41 PM

St. Paul police are investigating an incident in which a 15-year-old boy was stabbed Monday in the city's North End.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital; his injuries did not appear life-threatening, said police spokesman Sgt. Paul Schnell. Schnell did not know what kind of weapon was used or the location of the stab wound.

Schnell said the attack was probably gang-related and involved several people.

The stabbing happened near Arlington High School, but the victim did not set foot in the school, Schnell said.
